Can I bring a guitar onboard, or do I have to check it?

I bought my first guitar, and I ride about two months. I want for two months, I will guitar cable. I do not know if this helps, but I fly United Airlines. I have a case, but is made of leather, and I’m worried if I check which is damaged by baggage handlers. So, does anyone know if I can get the guitar as carry on or do I check? Thank you!

  1. You can use the guitar

  2. It must fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat

  3. Step one, make sure NOT to ask the airline – not available in the United Web site, and ask them what their policy is large / irregular, fragile baggage. Not. It is a safe bet that the exact answer from one of the people here have. Remember, our views are translated directly and accurately represent all the policies and procedures of United Airlines. Thank you.

  4. Must fit in your seat or on the shelf superior. No can not exceed 45 inches total length when traveling to the highest ancho.Yo much. I guitars and other instruments to check with golf clubs, skis. My suggestion. Get a large box on the guitar instead and then put the filling inside. In this way the guitar is in, and both remain on salvo.También, I would be fit to an insurance él.Dudo as under the seat if you go through a few lines.

  5. not a good idea
