Expedia ticket has me switching airlines?
I booked a ticket on Expedia and the first leg of the flight, I need to USAirways and for the rest of the trip I am flying on American Airlines. If I were in the assumption would be that necessary in order to check my bags if I made the right decision baggage check-in the first place? Continuing sounds like the safest option, unless fluid restriction makes it difficult, I’ll be gone two weeks.

Whether or not to change airlines, their baggage and runners will be transmitted on a regular basis. So not to extend the restrictions, can be controlled safely with those concerns.
You need to check with airlines or Expedia. After an international flight, I had the American Northwest in Miami to change, and I had to pick up my suitcase in the middle, check peak between the terminals and then again it. This was a difficult task, especially on the return trip, as we had in the office. I want things (drugs or jewelry for example), or you are valuable, especially if the flight times are very juntas.Buena luck, in my experience, never promised airlines divided book, should hold back, unless I had absolutely no other choice.
Luggage must be transferred as normal. You may want to check with the airline, just to be on the safe side. I never had a problem with the luggage until last summer when my luggage was lost after an international flight. (I went for a month, I had a lot of luggage) If possible, however, just go ahead. If you are concerned about the limited fluid intake, consider purchasing some toiletries when you arrive at your destination.
USAir and American are code share. No wonder. Your luggage will (hopefully) be your fate.
U.S. Airways and American Airlines have ticketing and interline baggage agreements (codes do not share, as erroneously stated above), so there are no problems, their baggage to their final destination, check if you check with the U.S. Airways.
The transfer bags between airlines is a commonplace. The problem arises when the balance between the airports too short to transfer the case. This happens every day as people travel from one point to another. No, you do not need to check their bags once again, if you know the person, if you will make in chess to their final destination “xyz” go in the city and “carriers” to the case for a transfer between tag lines.
