Transporting a cooler on an airplane…?

Ok. . . I fly from Virginia to San Diego. My father is my favorite smoked salmon, and I want to go back to SD mitnehmen.Ich googled him and can not find it. . . . Are there rules or requirements that are considered cooler iceberg in the hold of an airliner. I know I can not tape closed, but closed in the old school of thought snap luggage straps. If this was not an option. . . How about in the average car, though (I prefer not to go) I did not put in my suitcase, I mean, instead of a suitcase.

  3. sure you can run. . . Why can not close with tape? View the belt bag at some time after a flight from Alaska. . . Pack it with some of the blue ice.

  4. Note that many airlines now charge a lot for some extra baggage. It could be cheaper in the long run, to pack in dry ice and mailed to your home or UPS.

  5. easy to check with your airline about its rules. Some rates do not allow ice and 2 will be verified. You want to make sure a way to close the refrigerator. they are not covered if they lead to delays that are going to thaw and spoil
