What is the maximum size for hand luggage is stowed? I have a canvas bag 30 inches long, 13 wide and 9 deep. I can compress with no problem, because there would be nothing more than clothes, but I want an idea of being in the lead, but only the best craming much as you can in a backpack.

You’ll be fine. It all depends on what type of airplane you’re flying. Some planes are so small that a stock can barely fit on the head! But if there is a larger plane like a 737 or greater, then you are more than good!
