Plants as carry-on on united airlines?

Hello, I wonder if the plants are allowed as hand baggage for United Airlines. I called customer service and looked at your website and not get a definitive answer either. I want to bring a 18-inch height of orchids from San Francisco to Santa Barbara (California). Does anyone know if this is allowed?

  1. To my knowledge, I can not with plants in the aircraft due to possible errors in them. In addition, some companies do not alllow in some states, as in some countries. But it is still flying in the state, under the law, since only try to fly the plane jkeep must be reviewed, called double-click!

  2. When you access a live plant, how to do this, put it in a box, and set the root ball in a plastic bag. This will happen for the safety and well is just a flower in the carrier. The orchid will be left aside for a time, while in the plane, but will be good. I had a delivery to my wife via UPS.Regards recently, Dan
