I fly Southwest Airlines next weekend and can not find information about hair dryers or curling irons on their website. Does anyone know if this is allowed? I’m not checking any Beutel.Danke for all the great answers! I was on hold forever with Southwest, and she said that both are permissible. The only thing we are not to carry liquids and gels that are more than 3 ounces. Thanks for the help!

Hi! I am not sure if this will help, but, for SW Airlines I don’t know…. Try looking on thier website and check out their policy. For US Airways, yes, you can bring anything w/ heat, but you can only put it on checked-in baggage, not in your carry-ons. But i’m pretty sure you can because i think all Airline policies are the same.. But don’t take my word. I may be wrong! Have a safe flight!
Can I check in a suitcase containing also a larger iPod dock?
I think you could Im going to chicago tomorrow and Im bringing my straightner (I think its best if you bring a small one) and also a small curling iron dont forget blow dryer if needed you can get those travel sizes at like drugstores such as Walgreens, Walmart, Big-Lots Etc
