The airline baggage question?

This is a dumb question but since I don’t travel hardly ever, I’m not familiar with the carry on luggage rules but I do know they are getting pretting strict. I have a small plastor statue I need to bring as a gift since I don’t trust the mail systems to deliver in one piece (they’ve already busted one to pieces). If it is small enough in box and all to fit in a carry on size bag does anyone know if I will be able to carry it on or be forced to check it? I’ve tried looking at guidlines but nothings really helpful since there’s too much to list on what isn’t allowed. Its just a statue of a woman dancing with her hand up in the air and pointer finger poiting so I would be afraid of it being broke if I had to check it.

  1. You will be able to carry it on- just dont wrap it or anything in case they want to look at it. People bring gifts and stuff on the plane all the time. I brought several gifts including a small soap stone carved bear when I came home from Alaska and they never even opened the box to look at it.

  3. should be fine as carry-on – I would suggest packing some clothing around it to provide a cushion so its not banging around inside your bag. remember you are permitted one carryon and one personal item such as a purse, briefcase, laptop bag or small backpack and all liquids must be 3oz or less in original bottles and all must fit within a quart-sized zip-top plastic bag.

  5. I do not believe that deberÃa not to have ningún problem in its image by means of check when you estÃin a box and tamaño of a transport stock market. I have often used of security of the airport and problem never had ningún. They never have left of mà or my invoiced luggage of form manual. Its statue deberÃa to be well as long as there is no metal with the statue, that does not have to be controlled. Sà ³ asegúrese of which he is safe and fÃcil to leave the box in Web site of the case though. It would give ayudarà himif you estÃtraveling in U.S: http://www.
