Is a 16oz bottle of moisturizer allowed in carry on luggage with spirit airlines?



I will have two bottles, one 16oz moisturizer and one 16 oz facewash. Wondering if i can put this in my carry on luggage with spirit airlines. Traveling from detroit to miami.

  2. Nope. it’s gotta be less than 4. 6 oz. They confiscated my 10oz bottle of moisturizer at the airport in Syracuse, NY.

  3. It’s not up to the airline. TSA decides what can and can’t be taken past security. Also, the limit is 3. 4 oz, not 4. 6 like someone stated above. So no, it can’t go.

    Any container containing liquids must not exceed 3oz if brought in your carry-on.

    It’s not the airline that enforces this rule, it’s airport security. Just put the bottle in your checked luggage.

  7. NO. great, can not be more than 3 4 oz after TSA. Dont Airlines that those rules of the TSA and airlines have all these provisions.

  8. No – it is a TSA decision, not an airline decision.

    All containers with liquid/gel must be 3oz or smaller in size, and must all be placed in a 1qt Ziploc baggie. You can place any size container of liquid/gel in your checked luggage however.
