Airline carry out, accuracy is the size?

Hello,

I’m looking at getting a new rolling carry on bag and think i’ve found the exact bag with all the features and such that I want. However, it is technically too big. I usually fly on united as they’re one of the only airlines that fly out of my home town and they have a maximum restriction of 45 linear inches for a carry on bag. My problem is the bag that I want is 46. 5 linear inches.

So my question is would this present me with any problems? Or is it “close enough”? Anyone with any experience with a bag that’s just slighly over the size limits?

Thanks.

Airlines are pretty ridiculous when it comes to luggage. I would like to contact not only United, but the local airport to be different, because sometimes the rules of every month. If an agent thinks only a fraction is greater than what could be verification.

  2. I do not see how it could be a problem. I’ve noticed large pieces of luggage as. and what is 1 5 inches linear’re doing.
