Can You Pack Cigarettes In Your Luggage When Going On An Airplane? (not In The Carry On Bag)?



Yes you can, I always do but you cannot have a cigarette Lighter, in ANY luggage. You will have to take stick matches.

  1. No problem with cigarettes in your luggage – except if they are the made with the “wacky tabaccy”.

  2. Yes you can carry them in your checked luggage. You can bring them in your carry-on bags also, for that matter. You just can’t bring most lighter in your luggage (either checked or carry-on.)

  3. As long as it’s checked in, it’s fine.

  4. I went on a flight to Egypt and there was a carton of Newport in the bag that I checked and some packs in my carry-on bag. No one ever said anything about. So I am pretty sure you can take some cigarettes in your bag.

  5. they don’t even need to be checked as long as you are under the limit if going through customs
