Are Passengers Allowed To Carry Backpacks On Airplanes?



It’s my first time flying, are passengers allowed to take normal school sized backpacks on the airplanes, for cloths and stuff..It’s all I’ll be taking?

  3. Yes, you can bring a backpack. I has to be able to fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you. It will have to be x-rayed in the security line, but as long as you don’t have anything illegal in there, you’re fine.

  4. Yes as long as it will fit into the device which measures carry-on bag size.

    You are allowed to carry 2 carry ons. One backpack and your computer.
    I travel a lot and this is what I do.
    So you know you will leave the Earth for a while don’t you?
    It’s going to be exciting.

    you are allowed one carry-on (small luggage that fits regulation, plus a purse or backpack). Once a friend was told he has to check-in his luggage because he has a back pack, he pointed to a lady with large purse and hinted discrimination. They let him take both.

    yeah acorss.As long as u don’t have anything that your not supposed to have in the backpack then you’ll be fine.An easier way to do it would to just put it in your suitcase.

  11. Yeah, each person is allowed 1 carryon and 1 “personal item” which in essence is another carry on. Your backpack should be fine.

  12. yes, you can take it as a carry-on. As long as you have no liquids in it or weapons or anything like that, you can take it. If you buy something inside the airport like a water or something though, you can take it.

  13. Yes i do it all the time. please note when you dont carry much you can be marked as a suspect not sure why.
