If what you really mean is “allowed” instead of “able”, of course! Why wouldn’t people be allowed or unable to carry medication with them onto public transportation???
You can but it is probably a good idea to get some kind of note from your doctor. Otherwise they may view your syringe as a weapon.
don’t know – but the security mentality puts petty regulations ahead of people’s health and well being.
I just traveled by air….. yes you can. They ask you to put your medications in a 1 qt. ziplock back (like the 1 oz. liquids bag) so they can easily identify it. It doesn’t count as your liquids bag you are allowed to carry. Just be aware that the insulin may break. My sisters 3 bottles broke and mine was just fine. I know if it does break, talk to customer service and Delta will replace it. It’s just a risk when flying – the pressure does it. You can also suspend it it a small canister with cotton around it (like a plastic container w/a lid to help with the pressure.
Yes you are allowed. I have had no trouble and have also had a little bit of trouble but in the end I got through just fine and the person giving me trouble has been “talked to”. Next week I am traveling 10 hours by train haven’t done that before so I am facing the ” how to keep it cold” problem. But when i have flown I have used ice packs.
Just tell then when you check in and fist thing at security if they give you trouble just be calm and ask for a supervisor.
Yes
