Some airlines have further restrictions, so if you want to take something odd or huge (e.g. an animal, a surfboard), give them a call.

  2. Visit the airlines website. There is normally a list of approved and unapproved items. If that doesn’t help, call the airline itself.

  3. Contact your local airport or travel agency. Also, you could check online, do a google search.
