   You can bring one carry on – it can be a large purse or bag(roll on luggage) that will fit under the seat or overhead….and one carry on with a lap top – you will have to take the laptop out to be screened. Sometimes I will throw my purse into my large bag – and put my luggage into the overhead bin. A purse counts as carryon….so …figure out what you’re going to do with it. If you have a carry on and a computer case…put the contents of the purse in a ziploc bag, pack the purse in the carry on….then you have two bags…and when you get off the plane at your destination…go into the bathroom….put your purse back together.
   As far as film, as long as it in not over 800 speed…it can be safely Xrayed in your carryon. 1000 speed and over – should not be Xrayed – but placed in a clear bag and handed to the TSA person.

   You can bring one item that can fit under your seat and one item you can stow in the overhead bins.
   Has long has the laptop fits in a bag that can be put under your seat or in the overhead bins. Basically you can’t have more than three separate things.
   No the x-ray will not mess up the film or the lap top.
   Check with the airline you are flying for specific details.
   As far has what items you can bring in your bag through security go to TSA’s website for a list.

   A laptop is considered a personal item and yeah, i can carry a laptop and a small bag. That works (thats what i did) You should put the film in one of those containers (you know…those circular containers that you get when you buy a brand new roll of film) and stick them inside your small bag.
