has been drastically reduced as the airlines try to cope. In some cases this past weekend, passengers were allowed only wallets and passports. No drinks, no liquid makeup, no contact solution, no mp3 players (detonators were disguised as electronic gadgets), no books.
Do you think the rules will be relaxed in two weeks? I am flying through Heathrow an have 36 hours of travel ahead of me… I can understand and indeed applaud banning liquids if it avoids me blowing up midair, but I can’t imagine travelling for more than 24 hours with no book… 
I just flew yesterday from France and while inspections were tighter, I was carrying a backpack, laptop and bag with some stuff from the duty free shop and while it took them longer to check my bags, they didn’t cause any problems with it…In two weeks it might be a bit relaxed but they’ll still be inspecting bags…

dont worry!! you cant take food or drinks but mabeye your allowed to travel with a diary or something….if you have a baby brother or sister your mum and dad are allowed to take milk as long as they drink it first to show there is nothing wrong with it i watched the news all day that day! you will probably be tired on the flight aswell so try and get some sleep.take some headphones and watch t.v things wont be too bad.
hey u must be very careful saying the B word around any airport or even on a computer OK trust me don’t use the B word, don’t worry just follow all the rules and be very patient you will be safe and fine OK have a good flight
I hope so I go away this Wednesday and I hope they still have not baned drinks ect.
The book ban is probably overkill, but remember, thick hard covered ones have been hollowed out, and other items placed inside, which is probably the reason for the ban.
The insanity will probably die down a bit in two weeks.
