What Is Allowed In Your Carry On When You Are Traveling On A Airplane?
Delta Airlines suggests…
You’ll go smoothly through the security checkpoints in most countries if you follow these guidelines for your carry-on baggage.
Do not pack or carry any empty containers.
Limit all liquids, gels, aerosols, and pastes to a maximum container size of 3.4 oz/100ml.
Place all such items in a quart-size, clear plastic, zip-top bag.
Remove your quart-size bag from your carry-on and place in the provided bin as you approach the checkpoint.
You are not allowed any scissors or razors of any type
no explosives or explosive materials
no aresols eg deoderent
no hazerdous materials
well lately you are only allowed containers with less than 3 ounces of fluid, so i just put my toiletries in my checked luggage…no lighters, but matches are ok…electronics are ok as long as phones, laptops, blackberrys, etc are not on-line or whatever…like a flight mode…i stick to a change of clothes, wallet, a few munchies, makeup, cd player, a book, matches, and one or two packs of smokes
Basically anything you want as long as it can fit in the overhead bin or under your seat, no liquids over 3.4 ounces, no weapons, or lighters. People are usually allowed to have one carryon plus a small personal item (laptop, purse, etc) and a coat.
