Carry-on Baggage For Airplane, Question?

I’m going on a trip to another country, and I don’t know what are the limitation for carry-on bags.
Can I carry a suit case that meet the requirement size of the airline and a school size backpack onto the airplane?
Thank you

  1. You can carry the very small suitcase if it will fit in the overhead compartment. You may also carry a backpack. If the suitcase weighs too much they might make you check it with your other luggage.
    Have a good trip : )

  2. The less you carry the better. A small bag (most airlines will sell you a cabin bag) is all you need. I only take a change of underwear, and maybe a book and a camera. I also carry a jumper in case it gets cool but as the aircraft is air conditioned it’s seldom needed. I am talking about an 18 hour flight from Perth Australia to London Uk. If the weather is going to be cold on arrival I definitely need the jumper.
On a flight from Perth to New York which is about 26 hours I take two sets of underwear and just a book and camera. There is reading material, computer and movies available in every seat on modern aircraft, so boredom shouldn’t be a problem. Toiletries are available on board the aircraft if you ask for them.
