Can I Carry Some Make Up On The Airplane? 10 Points For The Best Advise. Thank You?

Please update me about the new law and regulation. Thank you.
I travelled by plane last summer. They gave me a hard time about bathroom junks I wanted to carry on the plane with me. They said, I can only carry small containers. What is their size limited? Can I carry make up?
Thank you

  1. You must check this : http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/p…
here they have mentioned the items allowed or not allowed on plane. good luck.
    Pal.

  2. Can you go to the airline website and obtain info from it?

  3. Well last time I checked your allowed 1 bag(like a school bag or a mini bag, purse etc.) to go on the plane with you, whatever you fit int here you should be allowed to take as long as it is not illegal, so there fore I believe you can take make-up with you.

  4. yup you can everthing trial size for toiletries including make up..

You can pack your make up in your suitcase. The current recommendation is that you pack your make up, deodorant, sanitary supplies, etc., in zip-lock bags. They will possibly be looked at by inspectors, but they won’t be handled object by object as they would if they were in make-up bags. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want anyone who just went through someone else’s dirty underwear and socks to even touch the package my eyeliner is in. Yuck!
As far a shampoos and other hairdressing products go, buy them at your point of destination, and leave them when you go home. You’ll save yourself time, and they won’t break and get on your clothes.

  6. I don’t know what the little size is, I think it’s 100ml, not sure…If you want to carry make up put it in your checked in suitcase, not in carry on.
I travelled with Lufthansa from Munich to Paris and I forgot to leave a jar of jam I bought as a Christmas gift for my granma and I argued with the woman telling her that my suitcase was already checked in and that it was a gift and they gave me a cardboard box and told me to check it in, I did just that, my pot of fruitjam was well taken care of….
You can buy these small plastic bags in the duty free that allows you to carry 100ml products. but the best option is putting all of your makeup in your checked in suitcase.

  7. maybe u can maybe u cant depending where your going and its their gob so
don’t hat the player hat the game : )

  8. This information is for LIQUIDS:
Any container over 3 ounces needs to be put into your check. However, if the container(s) is 3 ounces or less you can bring them in your carry on. They just need to be put in a quart size zip-lock baggy.
As far as makeup goes, as long has it’s not liquid you should be fine. But I would put them in a zip-lock bag.

  9. me myself,i put all my makeup in my purse.but dont try putting makeup anywhere else.my lil’ cous had to much and she had to put all of it in her purse that was already full.IT WASNT EASY!!haha.well both of us had learned our lesson.good luck!!dont forget you can still put makeup in your suitcase (only a little)bybybybybybybybybybybybybybybybyb…

  10. i think liquid is like .5 oz. or something…whatever the mini mouthwash is…

  11. 6 oz i traveled over break.

yes you can only carry some containers maximum 10 mL. So no shampoo bottle even small, or mouth wash. You can carr powders so eyes shadow and lipstick, only one mascara though. Just take wat is very necessary and put the rest in your suitcases.

  13. You need to directly check with the TSA not just your airline. I know it is small bottles 3ounces and smaller that will fit into one clear ziploc style bag. Most makeup should not be a problem since it is more often in powder form. Liduid foundation would probably be the biggest hassle. I would place my touch up stuff in my purse. And check the rest with your suitcase if you can. Makeup is expensive and it would suck to have to toss it all or pay to ship it. I had to toss a tube of toothpaste that was to large over the summer.

  14. A lot has changed regarding what u can take and not. The best thing to do is to check with what airline you are flying on. I know that southwest has it posted on there website what is okay and what is not.

  15. no liquids, knives, scissors, razor blades, guns, handguns, alcohol, wine, beer, golf clubs, corkscrew, self-defense sprays, pepper spray, tear gas, tweezers, nail clippers, swords, spray cans

  16. Go to the Transportation Safety Administration website and you will get the answers to all your questions and more. It’s at http://www.tsa.gov. That’s directly from “the horse’s mouth.”

  17. 4 oz or less per container. Be sure to put your containers in a clear zip lock bag. Helps a lot.
