Would This Be Too Heavy For A Carry On Bag On An Airplane?



Well, I’m departing from Logan airport on American Airlines to go to the Florida Keys to visit my grand-parents. I’m in high school and I was wondering if a back pack with a couple text books and note books would be too heavy as a carry-on. i just would like to get any homework done on the plane so I don’t have to worry about too much work at the last minute you know.

  1. Nope! its not to heavy! (: the people in the airport check if its too big. that all. so if its just a normal bookbag or a small luggage then its good to go! Hope you have fun in Florida!

  2. No one weights your carry-on, so bring as much as you want, just as much as you can carry. I am departing from Baltimore to Miami next Friday, and I am bringing everything I want for the cruise!

  3. Good to plan ahead! No that should be fine. I travel with my laptop and a couple of books most of the time I fly. Besides, they don’t normally weigh your carry-on bags anyway.

  4. It doesnt matter how heavy your bag is, it depends how big it is.
    if it’s just a normal sized backpack then you’ll be fine.

  5. That sounds like it would be fine, I’ve taken a lot more and had no problem
