Taking computer parts carry-on on an airplane?
sirgarycoleman2000 asked:
I’m contemplating shipping my computer through the mail or checking it. Either way, I want to take at least the harddrive carry-on with me, so it won’t get damaged.
However, will this be allowed? Would the security think it’s some weird bomb-like contraption? Also, would I be able to get away with taking stuff like the Power Supply, Ram, Video Card, etc with me as carry-on or would that just freak em out even more with all the wires? I’m flying American Airlines within the continental US.
Anybody with experience/knowledge, please give advice.
