Is It Safe To Put Hairspray/hair Gel/ Moose In My Luggage (not Carry On) On An Airplane?



Im leaving in about 2 hours. please its an emergency!!

  1. Go right ahead, as long as the hairspray is not aerosol. I would also make sure that each hair cair product is in a plastic bag, in case it leaks or drips.

  2. It’s probably safe, but wouldn’t it make less of a mess if you just left the stuff in the bottles it came in?

  3. yes, but try to put it in a large zip lock baggie or wrap in plastic bags, just in case. I have never had a problem

  4. yes, baggage is pressurized.

  5. Use a gallon size ziplock before you put it in suitcase .Change in pressure in baggage compartment will cause products to leak or spew. Especially hairspray .

  6. I am also curious about my hair mousse. I am going on a Delta flight this summer to Arizona and was wondering whether it would make it through baggage check. I brought a container of Arbonne lotion last time and I had to discard of it because the wouldn’t allow it on the plane. I of course will put it in a plastic bag in case of surprise explosions, but what I would like to know is whether or not it will be allowed on the plane in the first place. Sorry if I dragged on!
