I always throw my cell phone charger and camera charger in my carry-on bag and have never had any issues going through airport security. To my knowledge there are no restrictions on carrying portable electronic chargers in your carry-on bag.
If you would feel more comfortable, you can always check the spirit airlines website. All airline websites usually list those items which are allowed in your carry-on bag. Security checks are most strict when looking at any liquids you are carrying on. They must be contained in one quart sized bag and each liquid container must not be greater than a certain size. Restricted items usually include sharp objects that can potentially be used to inflict injury (scissors, etc), firearms, cigarette lighters, etc.
well, you obviously cannot use the charger while you are on the plane…so WHY do you want it in you carry-on? why not just put it in your checked luggage? If long cords wereprohibitedd, the people would not be able to take curling irons and other handheld appliances…but those are not prohibited. It is prob. ok to have it in your carry-on, but I cannot see any reason for it to be there.
Yes, airline security know about chargers. You might be asked to plug it in though.
what type of camera doesnt take battiers must be old!
I just bought a new camera and it requires a charger… so its not only old ones
do not ever pack your electronics or camera or valuables in your luggage. Always carry it on the plane. It can be taken, or fall out during the luggage check and the airlines is not liable.
