Can You Bring A Cake On An Airplane In Your Carry-on Luggage? Does It Count As A Liquid Or Gel?



What foods are considered liquids or gels? I couldn’t find an answer to this question on TSA’s website.

  1. I don’t think it counts. But if you want to be safe, call the airline you’re flying on. They all have 800 customer service numbers.

I would think if there wasn’t any of much frosting you’d be OK….. frosting could be called a cream…. right? You could check with your carrier, but I’m not sure they could tell you.
