How Do I Bring My Pack N Play On The Airplane? Check It? Carry On?

We are travelling next week with our baby and need to bring the pack-n-play since she no longer sleeps well with us. What is the best way of dealing with this thing on the plane? Do you carry on and put it in overhead? Check it? Put it inside one of the suitcases?
I appreciate any suggestions to make all this easier.
Thanks!

  1. I didn’t read the other answers- but check it. They will place a tag on it indicating where it is to go and to whom it belongs.
My rule of thumb- only bring what I need to use on the airplane or what I will need immediately following or in the layover.
    Good luck to you!

How big is the Pack n play? If it doesn’t fit under the seat or in the carry on bin, you will have to check it. Does it come with a carrier? You could put it in that, and check it through baggage. It would make travel much easier if you just checked it.

  3. JUST CK IT IN WITH A TAG AND NAME ON SINCE THOSE THINGS WONT FIT OVER HEAD OR UNDER THE SEAT AND LESS TO PACK TILL END OF TRIP
