Would Airline Security Allow 2 One Gallon Bags Of Homemade Cookies On My Carry On?

I’m visiting my boyfriend across the country, and wanted to bring cookies for him and his friends. My plan was to make two batches of different cookies and transport them in gallon zip lock bags. Would they allow this?

  1. probably NOT. Put them in your checked luggage, and if you are not taking another piece of luggage with you other then a carry on then pack the cookies securely in a box and put the box as checked baggage. it will save you a lot of hassle.

  2. I highly doubt it.Why don’t you wait and make them when you get to his place?I’m sure he has an oven and there’s a grocery store nearby to buy the ingredients.

  3. Food is not forbidden. You should be allowed to carry it on.
Liquids are a problem but solid foods are okay.
