Airline Carry On Rules About Liquids?
I know you can only have 1 quart sized bag and liquids taking up 3 ounces or less IN CARRY ON BAGS but can you have multiple items? like 3 tubes of 2 ounce toothpaste?

You’ve got it right: You’re limited to 3 ounces of liquid per item, and they all have to go in a quart-sized (or smaller) see-thru container (I always use a large zip-loc). Within those limitations, you can take as many different items as you wish.
That said, my experience is that I’m better off checking ALL my liquids. First, its recommended that you show the TSA agent your liquids in the quart bag, and that takes time. If you don’t show them, they WILL pull it out, and that takes even more time.
It’s bad enough that you have to take off your shoes, so why add to that hassle? Check ‘em all, I say . . . and breeze right through the security line!

sure, as much as will fit in your quart ziplock.
It doesn’t matter what quantity of things you bring, they just all have to fit in a one-quart ziplock bag (and be under 3 ounces).
Yes, you have it right. It is actually 3.4 ounces or if you container is metric it is 100ml. You can have as many as will fit in the 1 quart ziploc bag IF the bag closes completely.
